About That Tech Girl
I’m Annmarie Clattenburg, That Tech Girl. I fell in love with computers when I held a summer job at Digital Equipment Corporation (using DOS!) back in high school. You know that one person everyone looks to for technical issues? That was always me.
In 2005 I finally decided to get a formal education in the field. I was trained as a PC/Network Technician at Springfield Technical Community College. I am certified by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) as an A+ Hardware and Software Technician. I'm still learning every day.
Before starting That Tech Girl in 2006, I earned a Masters in Public Health from Boston University and worked for several health-oriented non-profits, including Tufts Medical Center, Beth Israel Hospital, and the Alzheimer's Association.
I bring my problem-solving skills, my desire to help people, and my love for computers to That Tech Girl. My favorite days are spent solving tech riddles, and talking people through the technology maze. It will be my pleasure to help you.
When I'm not facing a screen you can find me enjoying baseball, in the garden, or on a trail.
I live, work, and play in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.
